Thread: Day at the Races: 6th June 2009

Hi all,

I was just perusing the interweb, and, through a spark of inspiration, found myself at the Musselburgh Racecourse Website. A thought then occured to me....

Anyone fancy coming along to Ladies Day with Lilly and myself? :eyebrows:

We went along last year, and it was a really great day! Sitting in the sun, dressed up to the nines, people watching with a bottle of bubbly and partaking in the odd flutter on the nags: Very civilised!

Tickets are £25, and it really is a good laugh. :winkgrin:

So, what do folk think?

Well you have plenty of notice, and there are some fantastic B&Bs/Hotels/MoBster spare rooms in Edinburgh..... :eyebrows:

Myself and the other half would love to come along! I used to go racing regularly as i used to work in the racing industry so it would be great to go again. We'll be coming from Aberdeen so its not too far for us!

Let us know if your definately going and I'll book our tickets, oh and let me know which stand your going for, I think they still have different enclosures don't they?

Can't wait for a day at the races again! I used to go to Perth alot but also been to Musselburgh, Hamilton, Kelso, Newmarket (both courses) Yarmouth, Ayr, York and Redcar.

i thought only ladies were allowed at ladie day lol :lol: sounds like a good idea but, tbh i think i'd rather go to Ayr ladies day seeing as it's 5 minutes round the corner plus my pal used to work there so we can get cheap bevy :lol:
