Default Who's all supporting RATM for No1?

I was just a little curious to know who among us are supporting the popular revolution to push Rage Against the Machines "Killing in the Name of" to the top of our charming hit parade in place of a manufactured X-Factor cover version. I am aware that we have many rock music fans in our midst.

At the same time, the "campaign" is also supporting the homeless charity "Shelter" by encouraging donations "...in the name of". Over £35 000 has already been raised.

Do remember folks that there is no point joining the group if you do not buy the song.......

Add your name if you are supporting this.....

Yes, we must stop the evil Simon Cowell manipulating the charts to make lots of money for Sony. We must do this by manipulating the charts so that everyone buys RATM and thus creates lots of revenue for their record label, which is, um, Sony.

    Fail.

I think this whole thing is a beautiful example of guerilla marketing at it's best! Sony have used the inevitable anti-X-Factor-factor to essentially double the money they're going to make over christmas and everybody is falling for it.

Anyway, can't stop and chat. I'm buying a PS3 today!

I recently had the pleasure of playing Pacman on Jim Devereaux's X-Box 360. All I can say is that watching the little yellow dude cavorting round the 2D maze in glorious high-definition really blew my mind.

Unfortunately Kittie will not let me play any driving games because she thinks that my gung-ho approach dangerously mirrors my style of real-life driving.

    I don't know what she's talking about!

And yes, the PS3 thing was a joke. I bought one 2 years ago and took it back the very next day when I realised that I wasn't instantly good at it!

PS3 are crap, and the games on the 360 are always better as it's far easier to program for (Don't tell anyone that my alter ego is a 3d Graphical programmer working in games). Tell Kitty that if you get all your manic driving out on the games then it means you don't need to do it in real life.

The only decent game on the PS3 is Little Big Planet, which is rather brilliant, but still...all the rest are rather cack. And every time you switch it on prepare for the chance that you'll be spending 20 minutes waiting for it to do an update.

I'm not a 'manic' driver - I'm an 'erratic' driver - which is the thing that worries her.

Kittie took exception to my 'through the trees' approach to a driving game as she thought it was far too close to home for comfort.
