As for my favorite, I can't choose one, I love Hair, Rent, The last five years, The Wild party.
I haven't seen Wicked, but I read the book which was extremely disturbing and uplifting in equal measures. I really want to see the musical though

Ooh you absolute jammy cow! You should totally do it, I would love to see a Riverdance routine! I tried learning when I was 14 but there were no adult classes, ended up in a kids class, felt like a huge clumsy giant crashing round next to tiny 6 year old girls lol.I was taught most of the Riverdance choreography when I was 13 with the soft shoe taught by Jean Butler herself. We had Colin Dunn coach instead of the Wanker Flatley but Colin was always the more interesting dancer anyway. I still threaten to perform the full finale piece as a balloon pop with guiness filled balloons ha!

More links/video clips! Having a great time watching them!
One of my other favourites is Rent. So many great songs and really captures the feel of Alphabet City (though its much posher now). Very sad too as the guy who wrote it died after it's opening night. I saw this off Broadway when I was working in New York a few years ago. This version is from the film but I really like it.
