Default Shows- what is your favourite?

What are your favourite shows? Wicked? Phantom? Rent? Something obscure? Post here with a video clip from one. We can maybe find new things we want to see, and also learn from the super stage professionals, even things totally unrelated to burly can be food for ideas.

One of mine is Riverdance, been obsessed with it for years, love the music, love Jean Butler, the original Riverdance Queen! Never fails to bring me out in goosebumps after all these years!

My most favourite West End production is The Woman In Black (at The Fortune Theatre). A truely spine-tingling play, so atmospheric! And the stage crafting is so simple but so effective

I think it's going to be made into a film...

Mine is Cats too. Went to see it decades ago on a school trip [snuck in whiskey and strawberries, tut!] It really had a magical effect on me and fuelled my desire to be onstage. The soundtrack is very evocative for me of that time - a young, innocent girl dazzled by the bright lights of London. Dragged my husband along to see it a couple of years ago in Birmingham for our anniversary - he loved it too.
Ahhhh...it makes me think of lovely feline creatures causing mischief in night time alleys, and taking themselves to restaurants and theatres! How perfect! Or should that be purr-fect? [I'll get me coat!] 'Memory' always makes me cry - so beautiful and sad - poor Grizabella...

Sometimes you've got to dance like there is no-one watching!

Goodness, I love sooooo many shows, it's difficult to choose. It's probably a close tie between Little Shop of Horrors...

...and Hedwig and the Angry Inch though.

I've only ever actually been to see West End Story, when I was at Secondary School and Barnum, when I was 2 or 3. The only things I know about the latter is it's about a circus and adultry, as I reportedly stood up in my seat, pointed my finger and loudly stated, quite scandalised: "That's not that man's wife!"

    Mine is Wicked!

Glorian, I was taught most of the Riverdance choreography when I was 13 with the soft shoe taught by Jean Butler herself. We had Colin Dunn coach instead of the Wanker Flatley but Colin was always the more interesting dancer anyway. I still threaten to perform the full finale piece as a balloon pop with guiness filled balloons ha!
