thank you for all your kind words of of support im going to leave her to calm down, and have told her in not going to reply to any massages or phone calls whilst she is name calling, if shed had a chat with me it would have been easier and id know why she is mad but she is sending me abusive texts emails vocemails etc i like the idea of taking her to a show and will attempt to do so when she calms down,

Just give her some more time. Many people have prejudice against non-conventional professions. Somebody I know did go-go dancing and although it's nothing provocative, her mother was up the creek. A few months later she kinda came to terms with it. I'm sure so will your mum. Just continue doing what's important for you and everything else will sort itself out... with time!
