Hello burlesquers of the world!

My name is Lizzy (Nina Vee is my performer name), I'm 21 and I've just finished my degree in costume design and construction!

Burlesque has been a huge passion of mine for many years now and now I am finished with university, I want to have a go at creating my own act.

I'm moving to Manchester UK in August, but I'd love to get to know anyone and everyone in the burlesque community!

When you move you should head along to the North West Burlesque Society meeting (find them on Facebook) so you can get to know some other local burlesquers.

North West Burlesque Society sounds like a really gerat set-up! I'll have to be there for sure!

I'm especially interested in really old burlesque, 1890's (or earlier)-1920's. I'm hoping to be able to build up some performances, but as of yet I've not got a clue of how to start creating a performance, because I've never really done any dance, except as a child, although I have done a fair amount of acting.

Can't WAIT!!!!
