Thread: Getting publicity is almost impossible

Hiya all,
Thank you to the girls who wished me well with latest book.
A Witchs Guide To Sexuality and Good Relationships.
Please read its reviews on uk amazon books website.
Thats it no more plugs,giggle.

Things have changed with the press over the last five years.
My previous book was about Ghosts and some naughty one's,let me add.

I dont know if its down to the books contents about unusual sex or not? Or if the press is so controled, they wont give anyone, not already a celebrity any free press?
How unknowns are supposed to get noticed is beyond me.
I even offered to do late radio shows but no takers.
Have they all turned into a nation of prudes? Something strange happening in the media these days.Or could it be, if one doesnt have a publicist, we havent got a chance?

It's a bloody messed up world of the media, isn't it!? I can understand your trouble, my mother is a writer also.

How can the press happily give publictity to Jordan 'writing' sumtty books about crap, and ignore something which sounds interesting is beoynd me!

I hope it goes well, I think it's just a long journey for anyone at the start, and I really do wirh you all the best. X

Wow...your books sound like they are my cup of tea, I will check out on Amazon post haste!!

I have to say, I had not heard or seen anything of this ilk before....but you know what they say, the best form of advertising is word of mouth.
Do you have any websites, facebook pages, or anything else I could check out?
