    The University of Sheffield is holding a creative networking event called The Ideas Bazaar which may be of interest to some of you. It's being organised by Prof Vanessa Toulmin who runs the National Fairground Archive and is generally into all things sideshow and fab!

    It could be well worth going to even if "only" to meet Prof Toulmin - she's not exactly your usual Ivory Tower academic and does a lot of organising of events and shows around the country

    Here's a bit about the sort of thing she gets up to!

    Oh this looks great I met her two years ago she was part of an organisation running burlesque/ cabaret and circus side show. Really lovely lady.
