Has anyone been to Club Lash?
Hi
Was thinking about going to Club Lash next weekend after the Manchester Burlesque and Alternative Fair.
Has anyone been? Is it very "out there"? I'm into fetish costuming but not so much the extreme stuff that I know is on the scene in some cities. I haven't ever been to a fetish event and wondered if anyone give me a heads up on what to expect? Is Club Lash a good place to pop my fetish event cherry?
Also, I have a friend who wants to cross dress for the event. Is Club Lash a good place for him to do this for the first time?
Any insider knowledge would be much appreciated
Thanks

Hey hun! Lash is a great way to start going to fetish clubs. It has good alt music, and is very friendly. The ladies who run it, including Rosie Lugosi, are great and the whole night is welcoming. Its not too out there, not as extreme as some fetish nights you might go to. You will see some people in random outfits and some "interesting" things on the naughty side, and there is the dungeon, but its never threatening or anything. I know lots of people who just go to dance to the cool music, and that is fine. Its a splendid place to cross dress for the first time, he should so go for it. What is the date actually, might try to come, been talking it up to my OH for a while but not found a suitable date yet!
Maybe we could have a drink beforehand and go in together if i can make it? Be nice to meet you!

Yeah, You'll be fine there! We've been a couple of times, (in various outfits) it's really friendly and anything goes.
The 'play' area is sort of seperate from the bar and dancefloor bit. You can look in at naughty stuff or you can take part, or you can just dance and stuff in the bar area. The dance floor is a bit small though.
All in all, a good night out, weather you are seriously kinky or just after a cool, non judgemental place to have a dance. x

I'm as 'vanilla' as they come, but I've always felt really welcome at Lash, & there's a big Manchester burlesque / fetish / alternative crossover so there's loads of familar faces whenever I go. Great night out
