Thread: Sunday Blues

Does anyone else get that sinking feeling when they know it's work in the morning?

I had all of last week off cos I felt ill and just really couldn't face going to work.

I've applied for other jobs, but thats just made it worse - thibking of what it would be like to work somewhere nice.

Just feeling a bit sorry for myself and down in the dumps generally.

I hope you start to feel better. Good luck with the job hunting, I'm sure you will get something. Instead of thinking of working somewhere nice as a negative thing, think of it positively- how great it will be when you get a new job.

I totally understand how you feel, after training in my profession for nearly six years Ive ended up working in a call centre coz there just isnt enough work. Its the worst feeling when you hate your job

Hopefully something good will come your way soon! :hug: As for me, might be moving to the mainland which intially sucked but would mean theres a bigger burlesque scene :eyebrows:

Fraid the guy who got back to me about jobs is based in Cumbria :cry: I dont even know where Cumbria is....Is Portsmouth near Hampshire? Thats where one of the other jobs is...

I can't tell who the other person is because I don't think she wants everyone to know. She might read this and PM you though.

I think Cumbria is up north somewhere. I'm not too sure.

Portsmouth is Hampshre! I'm imbetween Portsmouth and Southampton.

And there is going to be two regular Burly nights there (according to rumour)

I believe Cumbria is up near the scottish Border. Very pretty area but probably not very busy
