Thread: Does anyone have a room for rent for me and my trapeze in Edinburgh?

Please help me escape Croydon! I've fallen in love with Edinburgh and feel so much happier there so I'm looking for a room to rent as close to the city as possible (I walk everywhere) that has space for me to rig a low static trapeze safely so an exposed beam would be perfect. I am a beginner and haven't found a regular class up there yet.

If not do any of you know a space I could rig it? The ropes are only 160cm so doesn't need to be a very high space.

The only thing keeping me in Croydon are my trapeze lessons but other then that I'm so miserable here and just want a fresh start but can't afford to move closer to London.

My budget is about £345 pcm inclusive of bills.

I am currently taking part in the Edinburgh Acro and Aerial Convention, and there are at least two sets of classes run up here - some by TePooka and another class near Leith. Google them, I don't think they are too pricey.


There are also weekly classes in Glasgow on Sunday and Saturdays in west end of the city with Spinal Chord.

Can't recommend TeePOOKa enough! They're very friendly and once you've got enough training; you can go in and use their various trapeze for practice at very reasonable rates.
