I heard about the "Lisa Simpson" phenomenon when the logo was revealled...

I just can't see the numbers any more, only ever Lisa.

Gosh, what on Earth does that say about my character?!

I stared at that for ages trying to work out what Amelie meant. I'm not a Simpson's fan so I guess it's excusable that it didn't click.

There's meant to be numbers in there?!!

They're never going to have any luck with this logo...swastikas, epilepsy...and this!

It struck me as something that had to have been made by committee, a group around a table 'What says Britain? Red Buses, X factor, Umbrellas, Beckham... Oh what the hell, let's get them all'

In the image Amelie posted, where the colours of the logo have been changed, it looks like Bart Simpson on the left and Lisa Simpson on the right.

It took me a while to understand it too.
