Love at first sight....
Ever heard one of those corny stories "ooh, I just knew right away, we were meant to be together" ?
Well, yup, this is one of those... went for dinner with friends after work today and noticed a sale on in a lovely shop. I wandered in while waiting for my friends to regroup and spotted the most divine vision....
Blue isnt even enough to descibe the hue of this dress, perfect isnt enough to describe the cut, Roland Mouret himself would be jealous of the pleating! In short while scanning the sale rail I found the EXACT dress I wanted for the Silk Stocking in a few weeks :genius: I dragged my friends in, Charlotte fell in love with it too
Theres only one problem, being quite dainty in stature, the dress is abit on the large side and it might not be possible to take it in (due to the side positoning of the zip and the intricate pleat detail). Im currently awaiting a phone call from the dressmaker....

Yes, I had it done to me once in my life time about 4 and a half years ago!!! Her name shall remain nameless as it were, but, one could smell her feet and her fanny from 20 paces as she never washed nor wore knickers or wiped herself after going to the loo!
Now, I am one of those types be it whether I am in Femme mode or drab that follows the unwritten rules of trying to get of with people etc...............Basically, I don't unless I want to. And, when the Lady says no, I walk away And, when I say no, I mean "NO", not "well maybe, follow me around for three weeks and behave like an idiot and I will see".
Even when I asked her what part of no didn't she understand she STILL kept trying and got all shitty with ME!
BUT, I am a complete nutter when it comes to anything with nice little flashing lights and switches, Louise will tell you that you can sell me an empty box with a 9 volt battery in it and little flashing coloured lights around the outside, a few switches for me to press and I will be in love for ages with it, or telescopes, or rifles, or fishing floats or coloured pencils or mechanics tools or screw driver sets..............Might be the "Aspurgers" in me though
I got a nice glittery wand from my local magic shop, it took me three days of fondling to get the glitter off of it coz I couldn't put the bugger down!......................Jeeez I am sad:cry:

Oh I do that all the time with clothes!
You could try pulling it in at the sides and pinning it? Unless it is really big it shouldn't be too noticeable.Snowflakes and Sparkles

Ordinarily that would work but the zip is on one side so not this time! You cant even just pin one side because the focal point of the dress is the centre pleating...

Women do this all the time. Like my ex would buy the pretty shoes that were a size too small for her, then acted surprised when her feet hurt after 10 minutes!
It's the condition that ladies see an item and decide it's absolutely perfect...if only it was completely different!
I do experience problems on the other end of the scale, being a big boy I often come across clothes which look nice but are too small for me. I will tend not to buy these items, and life seems to go on quite nicely...
Likewise, shoeshopping is made comparatively easy for me; "Good sir, please bring me all the pairs of shoes you can find in a size 12". I'm usually lucky to have two pairs to choose between!

And when you see me, you'll understand why I can never shop in TopMan, where even their XL size items appear designed for anorexic gay boyband member.:cooler:

Topshop clothing is quite often strangely sized, I have to get an eight or sometimes a six in skirts and trousers but need at least a ten in tops
(that probably means NOTHING to you  )
Ooh, are you all hunky and manly?
