I pretty much swear by Too Faced. Rimmel is pretty good too, but try using Lipcote - the original and number one lip sealer lipcote xx

hey, i bought a gorgeous red lippie by collection2000 lol! it was only £2.99 from boots but it feels lovely when on and it seems to be an ideal shade of red for my skin tone. i have a pic of me wearing it in my album but its a bit pooey lol! you could always ask the girls at makeup counters to put some on you.

Try brands like Boots 17 - cheap and longlasting and some loverly colours! Buy matte ones as they're less likely to be sticky, and remember to blot to minimise smudging

I highly recommend M&S own brand! I can't remember which one I have (as there are 3 types) but they're really good and they aren't tested on animals

My sister in law is a beautician/make-up person and she uses lots of the Superdrug stocked brands 2000, Barry M and Rimmel.
I've always found Boots No7 to be really good.
Bourjois is a good Chanel alternate as they're both owned by the Wertheimer family so are of a similar quality (Chanel just tends to have more catwalk colours).

If you use transluscent powder lightly over your lips after blotting that can help reduce smudges, it will make the colour more matt but does help.
