Favourite Artists:
Sir James Guthrie (Glasgow Boy)
Joseph Crawhall (Glasgow Boy)
I suppose that it's not specific artists, that I go for, but for a particular work that moves me in some way when I see it. I'll give anyone house space if their work touches that deep, dark cleft in me :help:

Watched the morgan emin thing on late night beeb last night,
Did not used to like emin at all, and though i only cought half of it, the interview did nothing for her. Had no idea she'd done a tent. Me and my friend wrote our high school crushes on our back graden tent in 96, theiving monkey must have stolen the idea. I don't like her instilations or her textile work.
But her drawings are very raw, and you can see the progression of her work.
So seeing someone embracing art and using it as a means of expression and emotional progression, makes me think better of her.
Very Glad to see noone has Hurst in there top Three/Four.
I find the man utterly detestable. He shows a blatent disregard for life.
And is utterly repulsive in his use of "bling" in art. Just a vile man.:wallbash:
Favourite artists covering the same subject,- The Kiss
Klimt
toulouse lautrec
banksy
and of course charlotte thomson
