I'd like to have dinner with Oscar Wilde, Marilyn Monroe, Aleister Crowley, Stephen Fry, Leonardo Da Vinci, George Galloway and Mae West.

Heheh, yes it is fun to be able to chat about such things as whether ol' Eleanor was a control freak, or shagging young middle Eastern boys!

Now then, that nice Mr Herod....

lol, its always good to know you can bring up any random subjects on here

I love it that a conversation about century old rumours is a likely to happen as a conversation about pin curls

Tura Satana, Marlon Brando (Young), Maila Nurmi, Ava Gardner, Charles Adams, Vladmir Nabokov and Marchesa Luisa Casati. I'd take them for hamburgers and arm-wrestling. Naturally.

Ooh Miss Tique, I'll fight you for James May! I really, really fancy him. Odd taste, I know...
My choices would be Henry Fonda (brilliant actor, and heartthrob of mine); Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington; Billy Connolly, Jimmy Carr and Bill Bailey, because they all make me laugh so hard that a bit of wee comes out sometimes (aw, come on I've had two kids)- not sure Henry would get on with them, though...hmm, might need to put some thought into that seating plan...

Stephen Fry sure is popular! Maybe we should invite him to the Meetup?
I love him too and he'd definately make my list! Also, if i was dining with Stephen Fry I'd want to invite Miss Pearlie Gates along as she has a sort of 'hallelujah' Stephen Fry dance that she does upon mention of his name. I'd love to see how he'd react to this!
Also, I think Oscar Wilde would definatly be a favourite.
So for me without going in to OCD style list making:
Oscar Wilde and Stephen Fry for whimsical witty punning and clever social insights;
Julius Caesar and Queen Victoria for empire building tips and unique perspective;
Richard Dawkings and Robert Winston for a god debate, aethereal and science chatter.
