I should really say HI!
Hello! Iv been lurking lots and posting some, but havnt introduced myself as of yet. Sooo.....
My name is Sam, married with 2 boys and living in wonderful Cheshire. I have currently spent the past 10 months setting up my freelance photography business, with ambitions to open my own burlesque studio (with various sets) Being 24yrs old, im hoping that i will have enough time to save the pennies for my studio, before i get arthritis and my hands snap off with old age! Im hoping (once i pass my driving test this month - being VERY optimistic about that one i can tell you!) to start photographing burlesque events and hopefully wedding aswell (what a mixture huh!?)
Im a HUGE fan of corsets and burlesque, but i dont seem to have any classes in the immediate area to get some learning in
Because of my love of all things corsety, im an outcast in my town as i dont "fit in" when my hubby and i visit the local night life! Much rather that then the alternative! :yuk
Erm i think thats the "good stuff" for now, the rest is fairly mundane :kiss:WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

Great to see you positive thinking here hahaha
Fleur's right there is so much on the internet to help you learn and give you inspiration. Check out burlesque performers pages on myspace too for inspiration about looks and costuming, and loads have videos of their performances too. If you check out my myspace for my friends, you'll find loads of burlesque performers on there to be lifted by their brilliance.
My favs at the mo on youtube are:
Vava Vunderbust
Dirty Martini's Spider
And don't forget to check out all the great vids on Veoh, especially Miss Carrie's wonderful selection. My favs are the ones from Candy Box shows. You'll have to register though to make sure you're over 18
The Russian Doll Lass - like Shrek's onion, but with sequins...
