Thread: Today...........

So then, has anyone done anything totally scintillating or is going to do something totally scintillating?

For what it is worth. I did my usual Tuesday morning garden from 09:30 till 12:00. I wont be in the museum this afternoon coz Louise's dad is in hospital on his death bed so, we are just waititng for the phone call.

Came home, had lunch. Tried on my new stockings, they are brill.

Now I am going to draw then paint and emboss a parchment card for some ones 30th wedding anniversery.

OOhh thanks Michelle for starting this thread.... I've been trying to do one every day but completely forgot this morning.

I've been in production meetings for most of the day.....yawn

Just eaten a Lion Bar.... yummy but not good on the hips!

Ok so my today started at midnight with me watching a whole load of Season 11 of America's Next Top Model (Someone PLEASE get me Elina for Christmas? :love then going to bed about 3.

"Waking up" at 6.30 turned into me getting out of bed at 8. Whoops.

I was a bit late for my Art class but it was fun. We are now out of line drawings and get to play with colour!

Then I walked home, had some lunch, went to the Post Office to pick up my parcel (a bundle of fabric off cuts for art) and came home.

Had a bath, washed my hair, got myself all ready and perfect for my photoshoot that is meant to be starting at 4... As you may notice it is now 4.08 and I haven't heard back from the photographer (a friend of mine which makes it worse).

So I'm now in my dressing gown and PJ bottoms and once I've finished catching up on here I'm goign to head into my studio and do some more art.

I'm so annoyed as I have a LOT of art to do and not much time. I've had most of today off so plenty of time to do it but as I've been trying to get ready I haven't done anything

The ex and I were at an Amway do in Doncaster a few years ago. One of the female speakers was great but, one of the funniest things she spoke about was woman and hips, now, what SHE reckoned was the cause for big hips was not allowing chuckles and giggles to come out. "Iffen ya'all keep them thar chuckles n giggles in then awl the air done goes tu yur hips ladies!! An Ah wont say what happens iffen yur keep in the laughter!!!"

There's not much to laugh about in Doncaster - that must be why it's having it's own obesity crisis!!!

Don't I know it kind Sir.............Then again, all I have ever seen of Doncaster is the road in, the road out and the "NEC" or whatever it is called.............And, as 100% of the audience were Amway people from all over the country.............Not many Doncasterarians were there...............Still, it was quite comical to sit and watch one of the "Glitter Band" origonals try to sing like he used in the early 70's............He looked like he was having apoplexy at one stage in the gig!

Some times I do wish I lived closer to some of you up and coming Burlesquers.............I would be on time for a photo shoot!

Today I went to a meeting as part of my voluntary job this morning, which was nicely productive, and I feel like lots of progress is being made.

Then I came back to my paid job only to find my computer is totally kaput, taking the accounts with it (thank heaven for external backups). So gotta go find a new one.

Now I'm eating chocolate, which is much better.

Doncaster is colloquially known as Doncatraz - everyone tries to escape despite all the inherent dangers!

Lol. It's not as simple as it sounds lol. Well it is, but you get my point.

I wish you did too. I would love to do a shoot with you. He turned up after an hour and we did get some good photos.
