Alas I fear there will be no crimble for us this year. We have blown our wedge totally getting married coz mummy renaiged on paying for the wedding.
And, it might get a whole lot worse, the car looks like it will fail the MOT in December when it is due. I think we will be good little Witches and be going Pagan for the first time ever at crimble. No tree, no deccies and just a proper Yule log for the Alter along with a Corn Dolly..

Mostly done. Have to go into to town for some of it, but will be well before december.
I try to get it done early, not for smug well-organised reasons, but for essential well-organised reasons - 1) busy shopping centres in december make me claustrophobic and want to cry; 2) me and the boyf (who lives 120 miles north from me) are going to visit my folks (135 miles south from me) and then his folks (60 miles west from my folks), which makes for enough organisation in itself (esp as his mum now calls me to find out what our plans are), so don't need last minute panicking, and 3) it give sufficient time for the internet purchases to arrive.
Oh yes, and spreads the whole event over several paydays too. And the boyf's niece's birthday is in the first week of the new year. And my birthday is a week before xmas!
So people think I'm utterly anal for starting early, but there's usually more than presents to sort out. So if I can get the presents out of the way and wrapped early, then I can get onto the other stuff and organisation (and cards, CARDS!) with the minimum of hassle and stress. That's the theory, anyway.
Oh yes, about cards. I have a big family on my Mum's side. So the card thing can get quite extensive. As a bit of a greenie, I'd stop sending bits of redundant patterened cardboard through the post of I didn't think some peeps would get offended, but they would, so I do. maybe I should stand my ground a bit more. I don't know. Anyway..
Me to Boyf:- 'I'm not writing your cards this year - you know I'm a bit busy with work an' all at the moment.'
Boyf:- *sniggers* 'I'm a bloke, I can get away with it.'
Me:- *cold, hard stare.*

I'm with December on this one I  Christmas.
I've got a few bits and bobs sorted, but mostly I'm waiting till next payday to buy pretty much everything I need. I'm hoping for a bargain christmas though this year.
I always try to get people originally christmas presents, and I struggle with what to get them, luckily the other half has been very insistant and getting a giant tub of Jelly Belly jelly beans. Thanks God for ebay.
