LOL I had forgotten about that baby at eh charity event when we had to walk through that mad bar. I felt very protective as you only had your fan dance outfit on. I think my Bond was inspired by David Nevin in the first Casino Royal. But I do like a bit of Sean. I am not complaining about this movie as I am getting a gig out of the opening, as I have been hired to do my Bond act. I love big daft movies with lots of guns, explosions and ladies in great outfits, oh yah and a fit hero.
Anytime Amethyst, any time. If you ever decide to come see a gig in Liverpool you always know if I am in town you have a place to crash.

Could not put it better myself - I don't analyse them. At the end of the day (sadly) Bond is one of the only remaining British exports! Good yarns, tongue in cheek - Seeing the new one Saturday - Though it is reportedly not as good as Casino Royale and has been described as a 'Bit of a downer' ........we'll see....can't wait. Hey they only wrote of 14 Aston Martins = circa £1,000,000...so much nicer than BMW's though

I enjoyed the Connery version when I was a kid, but watch those films now and they've dated badly - incredibly slow and clunky. Roger Moore was always a bit of a joke. I don't know why they keep making them really, but I suppose it's a 'Great British brand' that no one wants to die because it's an excuse to plaster the media with Bond girls, gadgets, Aston Martins etc. The latest films seem to be just aping Bourne, which is a bit sad really.

I must admit to never being a terribly big fan of James Bond, not least because he just always seemed so cheesy to me, no matter who played him. :duck:
However, clearly his value as a Burlesque inspiration cannot be ignored! :twothumbs:
