Thread: Thursday's chitter chatter

Good morning to one and all...

Well another day done and dusted and its Thursday morning....

I'm off to a hotel for a business meeting.... hopefully with a free lunch!!!!

Bonjour mes amis,

I am at work this morning, then this afternoon I am meeting up for my regular Thursday Starbucks coffee fix with my brother and we will do a little brainstorming and writing of our script (we are trying to write a comedy sitcom together think spaced meets mighty boosh meets black books and your pretty much there).

Plus I have to go comb the sales racks (and the non sales racks) for something to wear tomorrow evening because I have a Dat (yes it is a dat not a date, because I am not sure how official it is as its all rather shy and nice so it doesn't get the e til I know for sure!).

I am going to write some more penpal letters, go pay my national insurance (Im not even working atm grrrrrr), look for some nice wool for a friend who wants to knit a scarf for her hubby....um....try to sort out my costume for tomorrow and my friends too :lol:

Finish applying for a few jobs, try and do more of my tax return-all that sorta stuff

Um, when you decide to make your comedy , can I work on it?? Pretty please? Id love to work in costume/make up or help out as a runner (I have some experience :yes: )

Yup I'm kinda giddy and up about the whole 'Dat' experience! (I am sure I'll probably be regretting the whole thing by the time it occurs 2mrw, also a voodoo movie marathon is probably not what most people want on a first 'Dat', but hey thats the way I roll! :eyebrows.

Oh but of course you can! :yes: Costume is going to be very important with what we are doing so that would be fabulous! Now we just sort of have to finish writing it lol! (We have 6 episodes planned out but we have yet to finish writing a whole one cos we get distracted too easily and go off on a tangent . . . maybe its a twin thing?!).

Yay :excited: voodoo movies are the new rom-coms (um well, maybe?) You'll have a great time, yay!!

Yup I have a twin and yes he is lovely like me (though I am better looking than him and have better hair, but he is funnier and wittier than me . . . so it all kinda evens out!), we both have a really similar sense of humour, like the same TV shows and comics and he is also single :eyebrows: Oh you could go check him out on myspace or face book he writes very funny blog entries! :excited:

Your post is making me smile as I have boy / girl twins (only aged 7 at the mo!) and I find the relationship between them bizarre but fabulous. There is DEFINATELY a 'twin thing'!!!!!!! I can't wait to see how it develops / alters as they get older. The 'twin thing' is hard to describe but is definately there. I think it's nurture rather than just nature as they spend almost 95% of their time together (not by choice!!!!!!) and share similar experiences yet they are soooooo different and you wouldn't even think they were twins at all.

Teehee spose not!
Yup we are very close, we were when we were little kids but not so through those difficult teenage years! But we hangout a lot now and I speak to him pretty much every day. Not sure if we have a strange and inexplicable psychic bond though!
