Default Ok, who have you met from stage and or screen?

    I have met,
Miss Diana Dors, a wonderful lady. We met quite by accident in Bournemouth outside the Bournemouth pavilion.

Little and Large. Again in Bournemouth but, not all that nice a two some, well, Large wasn't, far to much ripping the piss out of Little for my liking.

Bill Owen from "Last of the Summer Wine". Bournemouth Pier. he came out during the interval for a "fag" and joined in with our hilarious frivolities about mackeral catching.

Melvyn Hayes form "Aint Half Hot Mum". He was sitting on a bench in Bournemouth gardens surrounded by a really snotty crowd from a county up north who would not let him go till he signed every scrap of paper they had. There were 14 of us with a ll the fishing kit so we barged in and got Melvyn standing then helped him down the Pier Pavilion where he was playing. The poor guy was scared shitless.

Miss Dolly Parton. Our group backed her for one number at a HUGE C&W festival in Scotland. A really sweet lady with a great attitude.

Annie Lennox. In a room with her when she was told her singing was crap and not what the record label wanted.

Nazereth, in the same place as Annie.

The Shadows. They were in the Golden Eagle Hotel in Cumbernauld when they played the Glasgow Apollo in the late 70's. I just happened to walk into the Antoinine Sweet with me chum Harry Sharpe when the guys were there having a drink. A good evening ensued!

Tiger Woods. On a golf course....Where else! A total whacko when not playing.

Damon hill. Dour bugger!! And his guitar playing is a bit............Amatuerish heh, heh

Louis Hamilton when he was about 12 or 14 I think? He was at a cart race where our Polish friends son was racing as well. Mr Hamilton was winning everything back then as well!!

    Jimmy Saville. Tosser!

Noel Edmonds. Not as funny in real life

Prince Micheal of Kent. A fishing "buddy"

HRH The Queen. Wonderful sense of humour. Well worth being in her company for an hour or 12.

HRH The Queen Mother. WONDERFUL mouth on that Lady!! "Petah, did I not tell you use a blae and black? Well fuckin well USE it man!!"

HRH Princess Anne. Anne, my love of my life when I was 17. Great joke teller.

Most of the Whiticker family. (Horses)

Nick Skelton. Totally manically dry sense of humour.

Harvey Smith........Would NOT like him for a boss!!

Billy Conolly. You need to get used to Bill. He tends to call a spade a spade. And he is quite a "deep" person.

And my favorite "person" whom I got to hold for about 20 minutes............Milton, before he became "Next" Milton. I STILL go "OHMYGOD!!!" When I think of that day!!

Bizzarely enough Eddie Izzard many years ago in a gym of all places! I had been to see him in action (and dress) the night before and it took a while to click who he was when in a tracksuit!

    Awesome!

Check my signature for my best anecdote ... I met many a 'famous' person that weekend - well, famous within a specific circle, anyway!
