Thread: Talk to me

I work from home and am facing a day of doing tedious tasks with no company and I am feeling isolated. So, in my own needy, self-indulgent way, I thought I would start a little thread in hopes that people will talk to me and make my day a bit less boring! So please leave a comment so I don't feel too pathetic...ops:

I know the feeling well. I worked at home yesterday but I cheated a little bit and put the telly on for company:warn:ops:

Back in the office today though so I can't stay. i just keep popping back every so often to see what everyone's up to. Hope other people can stay around and chat with you. Hope taht the day doesn't drag tooo much - at leats yesterdya I got to take teh car for its MOT which broke it up a bit

OMG I just read my post as it was sending - too late to stop it. sorry its not my spelling that's bad, its my typing. When I try to type with any kind of speed all of the letters get jumbled up:daft:

Now worries, I have seen lots worse, believe me! Thanks for the response - I like to start out my working day with a little human contact but today everyone seems to be hiding!

I'm sure there'll be more people around later. I'd better go and do some work now - well for a few minutes anyway, the boss has just gone to put the kettle on.

Failing this, here is the first 30 seconds of the routine I was working on as a Burlesque thingy..........Ready? Cue Velvet Underground playing "Venus in Furs". Centre stage. Step left, step right, place left hand on left hip and wave right hand and fingers in the air at shoulder hieght to show empty, keep stepping from left to right for four more beats then grapevine left then right whilst showing left hand at shoulder height and placing right hand on hip, grapevine to left then and bring both hands together then open them to show £50 note between fingers. Place note on table, side step left fout steps whilst "looking" for something, side step four times right as I start to remove top..........................

I know how you feel - I share the office with one other colleague and I feel horribly isolated whenever she's off!

If you fancy a giggle to get you through the day, try this, I know it's silly but it put a smile on my face so hopefully it may do the same for yours?
