Afternoon fellow MOB'ers....

Who is doing anything nice today? I'm just popping out to Sainsburys for some lunch then back to planning on people in my diary.

I'm doing annotation of medical record for corpus de-identification - and have a headache from it! Thrilling it could never be described as :wallbash: Still it is making me look forward to going to the gym later to escape it :lol:

i got taken to HR at work today cos god forbid i got ill and took time off work

Wednesday is my bed day but I'm being quite productive.

I went to bed early last night and what do you know- it actually does make you feel more awake in the morning

So I woke up early, I've tidied, read a bit, sent off an article, played on here a lot... I have two letters to write for my penpals and a bit of work to do.

It's only 1 o clock!

Huh ... I had an early night last night and today I feel rubbish - my brain won't work properly! Yesterday I was wide awake and productive after no sleep at all, so that doesn't bode well ...

The boy is off work as he's got some trouble with his back - which is odd because it's the first time that I know of. He had to call me out of bed this morning to help him up off the floor (as if, with my weedy arms ...). He called his GP for a telephone appointment, but that doesn't seem to be happening, so we're having a sick day together.

I'm trying to fill in my application form for the coffee shop - it's surprisingly hefty and detailed! There's about ten pages and I've filled in all but two, because they're the ones that require me to actually think and construct paragraphs properly. i may well type them out first and then copy them down. I'm supposed to be taking them back into town today, but somehow I can't see that happening ...

Oh, but I got my rhinestones through the post this morning (word of warning, 2mm rhinestones are EXCEEDINGLY small, even tinier than I thought they'd be, so I hope they look pretty!) which means that this evening I can have a nice relaxing day putting snowflakey designs on to my underwear and shoes for my Christmassy routine ^__^

I hope he's ok!

I can't even imagine how tiny 2mm rhinestones would be!

He's fine now. But he's taking the rest of the day off just to be sure - I don't want him having troubels when he's driving or anything like that. He had his Yellow Fever jab about a week ago so he thinks he might have had some side effects from that ...

Well, at the risk of sounding obvious, they're 2mm ... But even if you look on a ruler at how small 2mm is, you don't quite realise how small the rhinestones will be. You look at 3mm and expect them to just be a bit smaller than that - but for some reason they're even smaller than expected! The difference in scale between the two is surprising for saying there's only a millimetre difference in diameter!

I was in work all morning, the shop was sooo busy!!! Thinking of heading into town to get some groceries and to look for my Secret Santa, my Not So Secret Santa, more writing paper(yup!!) and a panda..... :excited:
