Somewhere to stay in Leeds?
Right. So. Up until yesterday, me and my boyfriend were getting a lift home from Leeds next saturday after Damnation Festival. Last night he got a text basically saying "sorry I'm giving someone else a lift instead of you now" and there's not an awful lot we can do about it.
So I was wondering if anyone knows somewhere cheap to stay in Leeds? I already tried the Glengarth and Etap hotels. We really can't afford anything more expensive than that, and even if we could a lot of them are booked up for the festival now anyway. So...any ideas would be great, pubs, hippy communes, whatever.WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

I think there is a place called the holiday inn?? Its near the train station. That wasn't too expensive but you might want to check on Gumtree leeds and see if there are any hostels in the area. Sorry hun I can't think of any off the top of my head. I'll have a look online for you x

Thanks! I think I've exhausted my search of the main hotels as well as some smaller ones, and I can't find anything about hostels, but I'll check gumtree.

I attempted to reply before but seems it hasn't got through...thanks for all your help! I've found one place that I haven't tried, so I'll ring them tomorrow. I don't think we'll be asking this person for any more favours, it's not the first time he's done something like this!

Thanks! We're just waiting to hear back from someone to see if we've got something sorted, if not it looks like we will be staying at the Bewleys. May see you there anyway!

Just thought I'd say for future reference I found this place
Nite Inn Bed + Breakfast Leeds, bed and breakfast Leeds, accommodation Leeds, West Yorkshire
Thought I was gonna have to give my ticket away to someone with a car so at least my friends could go, but luckily not!
