I have three (ex) stepdaughters. When they were young and we were in Scotland, they were in the School choir. We had the Baron Knights album that came out around 1977ish time. The girls new every single song on the album and used to sing the Baron Knights words instead of the proper ones in the choir!! Another crimble song on it was
.
"Didn't we have a lovely time
At the office Christmas party"
Along with "Anne And Joe" sung to the tune from the song "Angelo"
All bikers do join in
"Long ago, out side a chip shop
In Warthamstow.
Lived a young rocker
Called Greasy Joe.
Who put on his helmet and said "LETS GO!"
He was mean, orf up the High Street like Barry Sheen
Doing his best to look very mean.
Till he met Anne on a new machine!
Vruuuming away in leather, vrumming away together
Anne and Joe.
They passed the Bloody Tower, at a hundered miles an hour
and they were so amazed, the Tower bridge was raised.
They raced up to the top
And found they couldn't stop.
They flew right orf the end
And landed in the Thames hand in hand........."
(With thanks to the wonderful Baron Knights)

YouTube - Coca Cola Christmas Trucks Long Version
I'm not sure when this advert was first aired, but it's got a lot to answer for.
Have you got a neighbour that lights up at Christmas like this? Music included!
Christmas light show - 'Son et lumiere' across the street - on Bore Me
And while we are in the Christmas mood:

My office party was last night. AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH nightmare. Cue mandy puking on the photocopier, the boss getting all emotional and me dying of boredom near the punch bowl!
I have to say that by the time the DJ ( Neil from IT) started I was near ready to drown myself in the putrid purple punch....though for some reason Katie (from accounts), my assistant Nina and I took the proverbial 'P' out of ourselves by dad dancing and handbag boogy-ing! You cant beat it! God help me when the photos are put on facebook/myspazz or worse the crew room bulletin board!

Hmm . . . well I did used to be a massive festive fan, but the past two years I have had really awfull Christmases so the season has been tainted somewhat
Plus I know this sounds silly but I always find the festive season rather depressing being single as its designed for couples and families :worried:
Erm . . . so I guess at the moment Bah Humbug.

I kinda disagree there, xmas isn't just for couples and families.Personally i love seeing smiles on peoples faces, both friends and family alike....all the decorations, the social gatherings, the love in the air and the annoying and rather irritating xmas music...yep i love all that
