Name that baby!!!!
Utterly exciting news that Lady Marmaris is soon to become Mama Marmaris with a lovely, little baby!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sooooo........knowing just how good we all are at this naming lark why don't we try and come up with a few suggestions for a baby name. Both boys and girls names are required as we don't yet know it's gender.
Look forward to hearing some FAB suggestions.
kisses

well these aren't really suggestions more names that i like. right now i don't want kids but, i don't know how i will feel a few years down the line. but that doen't mean i haven't thought about potential names lol!
i adore bettie page so i thought if i had a daughter to name her after her but i think maybe bettie is a bit too old fashioned
so i also like ruby and i came up with ruby with paige as middle name which i think is sweet and it has a subtle nod towards bettie. i also like rose NOT rosie!!! anna, grace, elara and amelie. for boys i like max, oscar, dylan quite boring names really!
but nothing can top what pete wentz and ashlee simpson named their sprog ............... bronx mowgli    omg!

I change my mind a LOT about names and I tend to go for names that you should never give children as they would be teased mercilessly at school but currently I like Elspeth for a girl and Lucian for a boy.

I like Ava - annoyingly my uncle had the gall to name my new cousin Ava (just cause he has a kid and I don't. cheek.)
Also like Renwick for a boy and Kenzie for a girl.www.ErisEveiller.com

I love the name Lucien too but I know my boyfriend would never go for that when we have kids! It's a "toff name"
Same goes for Tristan. I see his point though, I'm not likely to be sending any kids to public school and it brings to mind what Alexei Sayle said about being at school in Liverpool!
For girls I like nature-names. I'd like to call a girl Rowan (*hides Wicker Man dvd......*).
I also always liked the name Isobel but it's so commonly used at the minute.
If it's a boy, just don't call him anything like my boyfriend's nephew's name...Arthur Jeffrey Charles.

On a similar note (well, thinking fo the Babybel adverts/theme song) my mum is called Barbara Anne. I can imagine the annoyance when people started singing it at her! At least she was named before the song came out. The parents of my friend Sarah Connor didn't have that excuse with the Terminator film.....

On a serious note:-
Boys - Justin, Jason, Jarrett/Jareth (Think 'Labyrinth'!)
(I see a theme forming, but I have no idea why.)
Girls - anything with no alternative spelling (a personal bugbear from my youth):- Alice, Rose, Eve, Grace.
I'm very fond of old names too - Eslpeth, Delphine, and, of course, Tallulah. But the latter's a bit fashionable right now.

I noticed that Tallulah's fashionable right now...why is that? I mean it usually seems to come from someone famous/a film or whatever...what did I miss?
