Eurgh...Yep, im off on one again :p
Well today has been crap to say the least.
I had to go to the hospital for some tests and I found out im 3 inches shorter than i tought i am, and im 7 pounds heavier than i thought i was.
Which is depressing.
And my toning up excercises arent working as well as i want em too.
So anyone got any toning up tips?
Or, tips to stop me feeling shit about myself, which would probably be more useful hehe.
Especially when some slobby scabby nurse has dashed the tiny bit of confidence i had by telling me, basically, that my diet isnt working :yuk:
By the way, dont want ya'll thinking im pathetic, so i dont COMPLETELY hate myself, i just have my moments where, to me, everyone is skinnier, better loking, has bigger bobs, etc than me.
I KNOW we all have those moments, so dont deny it!
Ooo, one last thing, this post is for dear Broomy, seen as she enjoys a good giggle at my moaning
Thank you for the mamary media Broomy hehe.

Tallula, my darling, I may jest, humour is how I deal with some of the things that I see at work, but I don't take the p***. Down is a horrible place to be, if a joke or two, lifts you, that's good, and if it doesn't then come back and tell me, for there is nothing I want more than to see you, and everyone else, to be happy.
You got my message about my friend's masectomy? That dear lady gave me some valuable advice that I shall always treasure, she said:
"Happiness is wanting that which already have."
So if having a good rant on here makes you feel better, good for you lady. I promise, there ain't no-one going to put you down for it. Everyone feels as you do, from time to time, even though they are reticent to share it.
Here's what I have experienced so far today:
A builder who fell from a ladder, I hope he won't be paralysed.
A teenager who spun her car over, fractured both legs.
An elderly lady who fell from her bed, my partner and I were the first people that she had spoken to in eleven days.
A truck driver, trapped in his cab.
And a small boy with a plastic toy stuck in his throat, that my have caused him to asphyxiate, but a thump on the sternum fixed that!
I am still at work, just having a break (sorry, bad pun) all of those people's misfortune's make me feel so grateful for the things in life that I have. Which is why you never see me 'down.' I just know so many a hundred times worse off than me.

Wow, Broomy. I have so much respect for you. There is no way I could do your job. :genius: I did a first aid course last year and even some of that scared me.
Tallula honey, I hope you're feeling better  It sounds like you had a really rubbish day. Hope today was better?
I got your letter this morning. I was going to write my reply tonight but it got late very quickly, and tomorrow I'm performing so I will write it on Sunday. If it makes you feel better you are an absolutely amazing penpal! You must be just as keen as me to get replies written and sent out so quickly :lol:Snowflakes and Sparkles

Just like Lady Mamaris, soon to be Mamma Mamaris, I'm a paramedic in The Ambulance Service.
And as if to prove a point, I always jest about these things by saying:
If you have got to have an accident, then do it on the A31, somewhere on the Hants/Dorset border, so that I can arrange a bit of staff discount for you!

Tallula, I'll give you the advice that the beautiful Fifi La Bomb gave me when I was depressed after a performance: Give yourself an allotted time to beat yourself up about it, then dismiss it from your mind. So what you've been doing so far hasn't worked too well? Look at it positively - at least you know and you don't have to carry on with something that's not working. So now all you need to do is try something new. It's not the end of the world.
We do all feel down about ourselves at times. I went out to Silk Stocking the other night in a dress that I loved - but then I caught sight of my side view in a mirror and just felt like I was short, dumpy and bottom heavy. But I can pretty much guarantee that no one else there thought that about me. The way you see yourself is not how anyone else sees you. I'm jealous of your proportions, for one thing! I reckon you should post a full length shot of yourself and we'll all tell you what we think - and I'll be brutally honest with you, and I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised ...
