Hello sweetie.
My Friday is extremely slow, nothing is going on at work eeek. So I try to pass my time with clock watching and browsing, trying to avoid any shopping sites though.
Tomorrow I'll be going to an engagement party so that'll be fun.

I'm poorly so I'm getting a head start on writing my Xmas cards, Hehe don't we all sound like party animals!
If I'm feeling up to it tomorrow i'm getting some new footage of my fire routines, however may decide to stay on the sofa all day and watch David Attenborough instead.

Reminds me I must do my secret santa...
What's a flump?
I am at work
but in a few hours I will be freeee and off for Chinese and a movie, Angelina Jolie in the Changeling, lots of lovely 30s period costume hopefully
This weekend I have lots of Christmas shopping to do to meet posting deadlines and want to sort out my My Space page...not a fan of My Space so not looking forward to that bit. Will also be resisting the temptation to put up Christmas decorations as I am a firm believer that they should not go up before December 1!
Happy Weekend everyone

it's like a marshmallow but not as soft they are nice and tasty
i bought the rest of my secret santa on monday, it is wrapped and i got a nice card too. just need to take it to the post office next week because, i don't want to leave it too late. i'm very impressed with what i bought, it looks like i spent more than i did!
im also quite annoyed i had an appointment at the clinic but they couldn't do what i need even though that was the reason i was sent there in the first place, so now i have to go to the hospital. and i am not looking forward to the lovely things i need done
there was obviously a total lack of communication between my doc and the other doc grrr
in a bit i am going to take a shower and pop on a facemask to try and relax.

I really want to go see Changeling! I must find a friend who wants to see it too. I think I know someone who might
It looks like a really good film and the costumes look really good too.
I've sorted all my christmas shopping out now. The last present I had to find was for my mum and my dad helped me with that. However this is because I'm one of those people who buys gifts for people when she sees things that she thinks they'll love. So the 1st christmas present I got this year was bought in March (would've been a birthday present if my sister wasn't born in February!). It's really satisfying for me to have got them all sorted. I need to wrap them now but I'm going to elicit my mums help for that - she is the best present wrapper ever.

Bit of a slump today. Feels like so many things are up in the air. Loads of Christmas stalls in town tomorrow, so it doesn't rain on us too much. The press launch on Monday for the egg donation campaign.
My biggest stress is that the perfect job has come up at a local school and I just don't know my chances of getting it. I've not had a 'normal' job since before Tyler was born, who'll be 6 in March so returning to work is a huge emotional deal for me. I applied for something part -time a little while ago, got through to the last 4 and was apparently 'pipped at the post' by one applicant who couldn't have been more perfect (in the same job elsewhere, etc). It was a tiny little part-time thing but I was gutted. I'm a bit worried about putting myself through that again. Of course, on the slim chance I did get it, I have the nightmare of childcare to sort! argh!
Got my assignment in on time though. Nothing in now til Jan, so much less stressed on that front :-)
I'm secret santa shopping tomorrow too. Need to get my list out tonight (or rather make one) and work out what other bits I still need to get

Went out and bought a new BIG glas tank wiv a neat sliding roof wiv pretty metal gauze over it for the "Girls" But, like wimen all they did was moan and gripe and whinge when they were being moved...................They are now hapily doing other wimeny things like sleeping or pretending to be sticks or stuffing their collective faces with ivy. I also have a NEW baby Eurycantha poped out this morning so that is cool.
Then it was melting bees wax with petroleum wax for doing wax embedding then just bumming around doing squat coz I now cannot be arsed to do anything anymore.
I wont be around on the weekend online in here coz the weekend is just going to be one very looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong abd quite boring 48 hours for me so, I wont be posting on the Saturns day or Sonntag days musings or whatever.
(Edit) On Saturns day we have to try and find a CWT bag of bloody Pickling onions coz a customer wants several LARGE Kilner jars filled with various spiced pickled onions for crimble..................Bah, I tell you, BAH!!..................................Now I feel sheepish after saying that..................

It's Friday already? How the hell did that happen!? It's been a somewhat eventful week in chez moi with lots of crap happening down south with my little Nephew, much chatting with an uber-lovely young lady and helping out with last minute event sorting *phew* I haven't even managed to get to the gym this week - I'll be in need of a corset soon!
Good luck with the job ms Blue *crosses fingers* Oh and speaking of jobs I got contacted about one up in Leeds by a recruiter a lil while ago so I'm hoping for that one to come off.
