Thread: Photo Uploads

Is there a limit to how many I can upload in a certain amount of time. I've got more swap photos to upload, but I can't find a link that'll let me when I want to add them. I uploaded quite heavily last night and was wondering if there's a limit or something.

Anyone know?

When I go to upload there's a bit that says

Picture Limits
Pictures Remaining 57
Space Remaining 9.27 MB
Maximum File Size per Picture 1,000.0 KB
Maximum Picture Dimensions 620 by 620 Pixels

Pictures will be automatically resized to fit within these constraints if possible. However, you may receive better results by doing it manually.

I imagine that you've either uploaded too many, or that the files were too big.
Try deleting any old pics that you no longer need or opening the photos in a photo editor and resizing them.

I have a vague memory of James saying that there is now a limit to the total number of photos you can have, just because of the amount of members we now have and it effecting the speed of the site if there are too many. Maybe put them on one of the photo-sharing sites and just link to it from here?
