Thanks Lord Dashwood! Driving is difficult to begin with but after a while it becomes much easier. At some point everything just clicks and you wonder why on earth you had trouble when you started
Good luck with your lessons.

Today I have been mostly getting excited about going to London on friday (I decided I wasn't officially allowed to get excited until the start of the week). I have hardly any money but it will be nice to be somewhere else for a few days.
Now I just want it to be tomorrow because I'm going to be getting a phone call to let me know if I have a few hours of paid work on thursday, looking after some kids and doing arty-type things.

Yes, I now understand what you mean James..........................Hmmmmmmmm, it is a wee bit silly looking innit? Suppose we should have started to date them from the beginning. We could stop doing it you so wish to save a whole pile of bandwidth and you guys having to check each post or whatever?
I have to admit to using the "off Topic" thread/forum as an ordinary chat room with no structure to my posts or answers.
Maybe it is just "us" that need re-educating on how the forum should be worked/ran?

Today was pretty boring. I was meant to have a day off but had to go in to do some work. Nothing special.
Mr C managed to cut a slice out of his head on a TV stand at work (ok, I may be getting a bit overdramatic!). He's gone all crazy and hyperactive as a result. Now he is talking to himself... Oh, no, sorry he's talking to his phone :daft:Snowflakes and Sparkles

When I did security at Chase Manhatten in Bournemouth, we had those throat mics and internal ear dooffers for the radio's? I was wandering along hapily conversing with ComCen when this old lady came past me in the main carpark, what she was doing there is any ones guess BUT, the look the poor lass gave me as she thought I was totally round the twist walking along laughing and giggling and talking "To my self"

I am having a horrid day so far, Every morning when I take my littlies in to nursery, my oldest son takes the dog on the field behind the nursery and is normally back in the car when I get there. Well today I got back to the car and he is sitting reading a book, so off I went doing a few errands, bout an hour later we pull up at home and I open the back door to let the dog out....No Dog! Will (still with his nose in a book) said "oh yeah I was cold and got back in the car" so off back to the field for a quick search (had 10 mins before needing to set off for a tour of the firestation) no Dog, so phoned hubby using my free calls as I had no credit and got him to phone the dog warden.
At the firestation Michael was a nightmare, he was having a bad day today and was swinging on everything, asking stupid questions and constantly interupting eveything then the dog warden phoned to say she had the dog and I could pick him up (for a fee)......
So I am now home £25 lighter but at least I have the dog, I am frazzled and only halfway through the day. I had to use the money I had put aside for a crimble tree for the dog so I will have to wait another week before I can get into the christmas spirit
Bah humbug
