Oh Midnight and Emiwee  just glad no one was seriously hurt.
And December - glad to hear your placement is being sorted
I meanwhile have resisted making D camp outside till he's over his man flu, but have just got back from doing the weekly shop which has left me very grumpy.

Why do men do that?? My boy had a car accident a couple of years ago, when his front wheel literally fell off and he veered into a tree, knocking the other wheel off in the process. He rang me up and said 'I don't want you to worry, but I've just had a accident and nearly died'. Because of course that's not going to make me worry in the slightest, is it?? Males of the forum, learn this - if you are in a situation which warrants us worrying, we will do whether you tell us to or not! Don't downplay it! (if for no other reason than you'll miss out on sympathy ...)

Well I'm driving home today and there is a good chance I won't have any internet access once I get there. So I may disappear for a while. If that's the case I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas!

Gotta love mums!
Well back up the hospital today (methinks he should have gone yesterday!) the whiplash has kicked in, along with chest muscle pain and his foot/toe is broken in two places. Men! Boys! He's still helping me wrap bloomin christmas presents tonight I tell you!

Quite right too. You don't need your toes to wrap presents.
Hope he's ok, as well as everyone else who's had things go wrong for them lately!
I spent today in town being filmed. Highly (un)exciting! My boyfriend is doing a module on music video in uni, and his group was given a new Madonna song...so they've gone for something semi-blasphemous  They thought they'd been given the most difficult one until they realised another group was given a Marc Almond song! But this is what you get when you're tutors a raving gay and apparently one of the country's highest authorities on Eurovision. That group obviously didn't do their research very well, they didn't get a sex dwarf in for the video.
So after walking around town on wonky pavements and up and down stairs in my heels for hours, I'm knackered and my feet are killing! But apparently the shots are good, and even if I look rubbish you can't see my face so I'll just deny all knowledge of it
