OK, OK, OK - I've voted for you Tempest, not really a problem on the choice front as I don't know anyone else in your catergory.
This doesn't mean I'm going to vote for anyone else in any other contests - especially any contests which performers have paid to enter.
Merry sodding Christmas and bah humbug!

Success!
My cunning plan to secure just one single vote from the man who said he wouldn't vote, by spending several days planning the shoot and scouting for locations, £450 spent on 9 weeks of skateboarding tuition, a day taking loads of photos in silly costumes around Shropshire, it was all worth it!
Now to think up several hundred more cunning plans to beat several hundred more people into submission

Oh if only that were true MoM. Fortunately you lot only see the tip of the Tempest iceberg...the bit that pops out of the water on a good day (or more appropriately recently, a hypomanic day)....all the times when I'm not here, when I go quiet (and December's been a particularly bad month for me this year) I do whatever ever the polar opposite of sparkling is....it's probably 'fester', and you lot don't have to put up with me languishing in bed or at home beating myself up about what a despicable effort of a human being I am* and how everyone's lives would be so much better off without me). I know generally I'm getting a lot better at managing the extremes of my moodswings and also have learnt enough techniques to make a shorter transition to a more level playing field between the extremes....but I know I'm going to be cyclothymic for life and I feel terribly sorry for putting my two best mates and my wonderful husband through the times when I'm an utter cow or seemingly beyond human kindness...when I most definitely don't sparkle.
*Don't worry, on a good day, I know this isn't true and that I'm not all that bad, but on the bad days there's no talking sense to me, I can't take it in.The Russian Doll Lass - like Shrek's onion, but with sequins...

Tempest, to quote a line from a film "Frankly my dear, I don't GIVE a damn"
You are OUR Tempest. Last night on the royal variety show was a sketch from a show to do with two gay lads who set up a chorus line or some such thing. The song one of them sang I believe you may have already coined on here some where.
Actually, watching and listening to the show and that song for the first time properly made me realise a few things about Michelle and John
(With thanks to Miss Gloria Gaynor.)
I am what I am
And what I am needs no excuses.
I deal my own deck, sometimes the Aces,
Sometimes the Deuces
It's one life with no return and no deposit
One life so it is time to open up your closet
Lifes not worth a DAMN till you can SHOUT out
I AM WHAT I AM.
And YOU missus are what you are and we still love you, good days, bad days, sad days, shit aweful days or in a huff or fed up with yourself etc.
Ok?
So, glitter on.
