Sexuality isn't really an issue for me (me and hubby are both bi and comfortable with it) and I think in some ways him being gay would be more socially acceptable than him turning out CD.

I have spoken to him about it again, and he is quite sure it is what he wants (he has added it to his christmas list) so I guess we will go for it. He has now decided he would like some shoes of his own as mine are a size too big for him! And he wants a red dress, so I guess some of my taste has rubbed off on him!

He is such a skinny thing that I am toying with getting some fabric and making him a dress rather than buying, because looking at the dresses in the shop I think they would hang off him.
