After weeks of wrangling with Facebook (apparantly thier automated system doesn't think my name's a real name! So what if it isn't?) I now have a facebook account!

So if you search for Dani California, you should find me on there

How odd that it doesn't like your name! I have one and it worked fine- at least Dani is actually a name! :lol:

Possibly the California bit of your name is confusing its "smart" software and it keeps trying to put your name in where the address line should be or something?

In my experience when working with computers there is nothing quite so prone to reducing you to tears of frustration and making a two minute task take five hours as so-called smart software trying to be helpful! :wallbash:

I really don't understand facebook sometimes! On my friends I have 'Shakin' Moos' (a milkshake bar), and loads of other odd ones which clearly aren't names! Silly facebook! x x x

I got away with using Gehenna Pariah for quite a long time - then I made the mistake of adding too many friends at once and a moderator decided my name was fake :help:.

I'm back on Facebook under my married name of James LaVey. I lost a heap load of stuff but the good news is I get a lot less spam these days and I have control back of all my important groups as Angel LaVey had control of them from before I got deleted.

Facebook sucks - the majority of people who respond to event invites with a yes or a maybe don't come - and the amount of spam you can get is horrific. MySpace is a heck of a lot better, it just doesn't have as good a search sustem.
