1. Drink less booze and more water
2. Stop making an effort with people are are either not bothered or not supportive and put that energy into my relationships with my good friends
3. Have two new acts ready for February inc. all props
4. Work hard, have fun and take better care of myself.

Ooh mine are:
- Work really hard at college to get into Uni.
- Develop some kind of morning routine so I'm not rushed off my feet all the time.
- Make myself lunch everyday so I don't fork out for food I won't eat.
- Spend more time with my Dad.
Merry Christmas!

Firstly, I hope everyone had a great day yesterday and are still enjoying the holiday period :excited:
My New Year resolutions are:
1) Work harder to get into freelance journalism
2) Keep up with the Weight Watchers success
3) Debut as Kari Kature (eek...lol)
4) Go to Viva's classes (YAY)
5) Keep true to myself around friends, relationships etc
I think that will probably do for now...I reckon it's more a case of living every day to the full for me next year - 2008 was really hard for me, not going to let that happen in 2009. And in great style, I'm bringing in 2009 with some fab new friends from here so it's all starting wonderfully :excited:

Hmmm I can understand what they are saying, but surely a resolution is intended to change the thing that makes you feel down. Which can only be a good thing right?
If they had argued that resolutions make you feel worse if you don't stick to them, I could understand it. But they're saying they make you feel bad because they highlight your flaws... Yes, the ones you are going to change...

Well I came across it when I was going to check my e-mail and thought of this thread.
I never give myself weight loss resolutions anyways, because I know I can never keep to them and there is the most divine fish and chip shop next to my boyfriends house!
Hope everyone had a good NYE!
