It depends where it is and how bad. Ideally, you should let the air get to it as much as possible. You can put a very gentle moisture cream or something like savlon cream on it, to keep the scabbing supple and help it heal without scarring, but not vaseline. If its somewhere that will be irritated by clothes etc, then put a plaster or lint-free dressing on it.

Aloe Vera (straight from the plant!) is good for the scarring, and it's very soothing. I read somewhere that lavender is good for burns, too xx

Germolene is also pretty good for numbing burns if they hurt. A burns plaster won't make it worse and might help.

Head to the fridge! I used to rub slices of cucumber over my sunburn.

Lavender is the thing I would use. If I remember my studies correctly, aromatherapy was "invented" when Gattefosse was studying plants and burnt his hand; the closest thing he had was a vat of lavender oil and he put his hand in it. His hand healed quickly, with no scarring.

Yeah, Lucas - that's the stuff i have. it is AMAZING. it's great for tattoos too coz it means you get NO scabbing, which means you lose less ink and then they look fresher for longer... like my new birdies, which healed in 4 days.
