    Default Please help... it's driving me mad!

    Does anybody know the name of the Jamaican style of chicken that ISN'T Jerk chicken. It's the other one.

    I've been trying to remember this for the last two days now. I've tried Googling for things like 'jamaican chicken styles not jerk' but I've not found it and it's starting to drive me mad!

    Can anybody help? I'll know it when I hear it!

    Are you sure it's Jamaican? I just googled 'Jamaican Chicken Recipes' The first choice comes up with a list but only 'Jerk' has a special name.
    You are not thinking of something obvious like 'Cajun' are you?

    You are totally right, but I was in Jamaica when I first tried it, however if I had phrased the question thus:

    "Does anybody know what the chicken was that I tried in Jamaica, but wasn't jerk chicken"

    it would have been even more confusing for me!
