Gifts for guys...
Hello you gorgeous lot!
I'm struggling to find gift ideas for my marvellous man and I'm wondering if you lovely MoBsters can help. He is one of those irritating people who is impossible to buy for, but is really ace at finding presents for others and bargains for himself. Therefore my technique in the past has been to find him something unusual that he will never have conceived of!
In the past I've bought him a gold maneki neko (japanese waving cat), a bacon wallet, patent dress shoes, a bag with cute skull design and other bizarre goodies.
Only now I'm stuck and it's Valentines Day and his birthday soon and I don't know what to get him.
:help:
Do you know of any websites that stock quirky gifts for guys? Have you bought, or been bought anything awesome that you can share with me? I'll even try to make him something if needs be!
So any thoughts on how I can impress my amazingly fab fella?WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

Ooh! Thanks for the response folks!
The t-shirts are cool and he likes a bit of retro geeky stuff but he's got LOADS of the buggers! I'm definitely going to get him one of the USB hearts for Valentines day though. We're both IT techs so it's pretty appropriate - I might even take some cheeky pics of myself to put on it! :eyebrows:
Despite the geeky tee-shirts he likes getting dressed up when we go to Burly nights together but because of his size (6'6") he prefers to buy his own clothes. Even so I've been trying to find a reasonably priced shirt that fits his neck (at least 19") and his chest (46") but it's nigh on impossible. Instead I'm trying to think of any accessories that I can get him instead...
He's wanted these glittery shoes for ages, but they've none left in his size. Can any of you dapper fellows (or partners of the same) suggest any glitzy items I can search for, or any sites you can recommend?
*The search continues!*

Buy desired shape plain shoes -- cover in glue, get fabulous with glitter.
Wooooo --- you go girlfriend in Gok Wan stylie + all that shite.
Think I may well have a go myself.
Best regards
Kx

Good idea! Sadly not really a surprise for him though as he'd already considered it some time ago. Here's a useful post though... MoB Glitter Shoes Tutorial
Good luck!

If he likes getting dressed up for your Burlesque nights out, how about some Shirt Armbands? An essential in a gentlman's clothing arsenal! :eyebrows:
That, or you can never go wrong with a good Fedora or Trillby....... :twothumbs:
Then there are always braces too! Amazing the different colours you can get. Let him show that little bit of colour with his suit....
