Aw man I used to love Count Duckula (me and my twin still do impressions from that).
I used to like: Dogtanian and the four muskahounds, Visionaries, He-man and She-Ra, Dangermouse, RentaGhost, Maid Marian and her Merry Men, Thunder Cats, M.A.S.K, Jace and the Wheeled Warriors (no one else ever rembers this), Belle and Sebastian, Care Bears, Gummi Bears, Transformers, Go-Bots . . . there are SO MANY! I'm sure I will keep thinking of more!

YAYY!! Clangers rule!!!:cooler:
I have a vespa scooter and it has Clangers on it! It has Clangers, froglets and sparkly holographic writing and musical notes too!! People always think its funny but it goes like stink and I have the last laugh passing hard faced boys on my blue and pink clanger scoot!!! Their faces as you go by waving with pink mice on your bike...priceless!!
I love all the Oliver Postgate stuff like Bagpuss....soooo cool! and Ivor the Engine! Ooh and Noggin the Nog (and his Uncle Nogbad the Bad!)
Loving this thread!!:twothumbs:

At the risk of sounding like a complete cliche - The Clangers, Trumpton et al and Bagpuss ruled my childhood!
Also - did anyone watch Terrahawks as a kid (it was made by the same guy who made Thunderbirds, but was a sci-fi show)? I always liked it much better than THunderbirds, but it doesn't seem to have been remembered nearly so well!

Oh God I am such a huge fan of kids TV, one of my uni lectures specialized in Children's television so we got a lot of it on my course!
I love Oliver Postgate, but I think Bagpuss and The Clangers were my favs. A lot of those great 80's cartoons like Thundercats, Bucky O'Hare, Teenage Turtles, X-Men and Spiderman were also big for me.
I also loved anything spooky with monsters like Gravedale High, Transylvania Pet Shop, Ghostbusters Extreme and the Addams Family Cartoon....kinda explains a lot now!
Some possibly more obscure ones I loved that don't get mentioned much include a cartoon called Pigeon Street, The Wuzzles and Grady Greenspace.

I am also scarred for life by the creepy Wizbit the evil creation of Paul Daniels I am shivering as I remember it!!!!

My DVD collection shows you my taste in kids' TV ...
Bagpuss
Willo the Wisp
Dungeons and Dragons
Eerie Indiana
Trap Door
All awesomeness. Next on the list is Dangermouse. And of course, the all-time favourite Knightmare, after I spent so much time chatting to the people who campaigned to get it released on DVD - I think they were successful ... Although I would love to see it again, I would have to fight the overwhelming disappointment leftover from my ten year old self getting the letter which said I needn't bother applying with a team as it had been cancelled >__<
