Thread: Mr Benn

Mr Benn is an ordinary fellow, living an ordinary life in an ordinary suburban house, at Number 52, Festive Road. One day, Mr Benn receives an invitation to a fancy dress party, and so, donning his bowler hat, he sets off to find a costume to wear. Unable to find a suitable outfit in the usual shops, he turns down a small lane and finds a shop filled with strange and unusual costumes. Inside, Mr Benn asks the fez-wearing shopkeeper if he can try on a suit of red armour; he then enters the changing room, puts on the outfit, and walks through another door... and suddenly finds himself transported back to medieval times. It is the first of many amazing and extraordinary adventures for Mr Benn…

SO the discussion would be if you was Mr Benn what costume would you wear to go though the second door


i think mine would be a red indian as, as a child my nan used to make me the red indian outfits with the feather headgear and bow and arrow to shoot my bro who was always a cowboy!!!! and i love to do that again!!!! yes i do have a lot of time on my hands lol :wallbash:

Ooh so I can dress up as anything and be transported to an appropriate time/place? I like the sound of this! Can I have more than one go?

I would be a Victorian girl. Though a posh, rich sheltered one in a pretty house. I'd be nice to all the maids as well so they didn't have such a horrible life.

I would also go to the 50s and then the 60s. Yeah

I would want to be a bar room wench in a western saloon or a suffragette or a Beatles groupie!!

I just bought this on DVD, having really wanted to re-live my childhood though television. The animation is adorable.

I think that I like the spaceman episode the best... but I quite liked it when he was a knight, too. If I went to that fancy dress shop? I'd be a mermaid! xx
