That's where I live!!!!
You can't get there by tube but there is a direct train from London Waterloo (about 45 minutes) and the venue for it (the airport- just googled it) is about a... 20 minute walk from the station. You could get a bus but it would be quite a pointless trip.
If you do go you could come see me
I could meet you at the station actually, if you're bad with directions, and show you the way.
Also, I can't say too much and I can't promise anything but I may be able to pull a few strings for you to get in!Snowflakes and Sparkles

I am definatly definatly definatly coming.
I love classic cars and have only so far been to the Stamford show and there was only one American cadillac
Loads of moggies though  my second love.
If I could afford to keep one restored and in excellent condition I definatly would.

Yay!!! How long is the show for? If it's a weekend jobby I could take you to the local rock club (I haven't been in a while and have been looking for an excuse to go!). I'm right in thinking you like rock? Wait, it's you that was wearing the Aiden hoodie in a picture right?
Anyway, yeah. Depending on how many people you will be with, and with Mr C's consent, I may be able to offer you a spare room (with a very very pretty bed!) to crash in.
Sorry I'm getting all excited now, nobody ever has an excuse to come down here. Except the airshow which I DESPISE!!! I don't actually know a lot about classic cars at all, it's just the prospect of another MoBer in my boring little hometown :lol:Snowflakes and Sparkles

hehe!! Nooo thats not me in the Aiden hoody, thats one of my long time friends Becca

We did get that from an Aiden gig though, we met then at the end and got their autographs.. I dno why
hehe, we met Still Remains as well and I think I took a random persons autograph because I didnt know who was in Still Remains
ops:
The shows on for friday, saturday and sunday.
I dont think I would ever attend an airshow.. Planes darting around are much too hard for me to catch on my camera without falling over backwards.
I dont know anything to do with the engines or anything like that with classic cars, just the shapes and designs. Mechanics really dont interest me much.. only the tiniest bit..

Oh goodness! I need to be at that show. All my male family/friends in Toronto were car-fixing, coverall-wearing gentlemen with lots of style and quite a few classic cars, and I have been missing them! (The cars. But the men, too.)
I'm in Glasgow but I'm pretty sure that's worth the trip.
Perhaps I can meet up with you folk somewhere... and Miss December Charm, do your connections stretch to any photo shoot possibilities? Because if we can get you ladies dolled up and access to a car, well, I'm a photographer and I'd be there with bells on.
So excited!

I am thinking this could be amazing.
The only depressing part will be taking a bus from Glagsow - it will significantly detract from the glamour of the whole event! I'd much rather ride in a sweet car, but, as previously mentioned, they are all back in Canada. Sucks to that!
Also, CLASSIC BIKES. Flippin' awesome. Maybe I can save up £500 by then so I can get a nice Belstaff to wear, and then get some shots of myself with a bike... I'm pretty much drooling over here just at the thought.
