Valentines day.... who is being romantic?
Hi
Apart from the burlesque shows that you may/may not be attending... who is doing something special on Saturday for their loved one??
I've booked theatre tickets for myself and Steve to go and see Avenue Q in London.
After 13 years of being together its still as good as it was when we first met   :love:WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

I shall be donning my beard (a real hair one on my face, that's not slang for my husband
), putting on a wedding dress, covering a carved oak four-poster bed with fake cobwebs and having a Miss Havisham themed photoshoot................but then isn't that what everyone does on Valentine's Day these days, it's so old hat
But then again, I might be dressing up as a dalek and getting the husband to take my photo....I haven't decided yetThe Russian Doll Lass - like Shrek's onion, but with sequins...

Lilly and I shall be sat in the pub with friends, eating crisps and pizza, drinking beer (and cider or wine for the wonderful Ms de Lure) and watching both Six Nations games that are on on Saturday! :excited: (Assuming we can find someone daft enough to Puppy-sit! :worried: )
I think I may have found the perfect woman! Burlesque Performer and a Rugby Fan! May be the reason we're coming up to our nineth anniversary next month! :eyebrows:

I think we're just going out for a meal - Geoff's not a massively romantic (or romantic at all!) kind of guy!

I shall also be travelling down to London. I will get to watch my wife, Angel LaVey (shameless romantic polug), perform at Festival of Sins. We shall then enjoy the rest of the show before wandering back to Victoria Coach Station for a 6am trip back to Birmingham.
Yes - we're mad.

We're going to Tesco on Friday and getting popcorn, ice cream, Pepsi and all sorts of rubbish food.
Then on Valentine's Day we are going to bake yummy things, watch loads of films we have downloaded and order Domino's
I'm very excited!Snowflakes and Sparkles

I'm going to be cooking a romantic meal while he watches the Rugby (we're broke so those are my two pressies to him. 1 the food. 2 not distracting him from the game). He's being quiet about it, so either he's forgotten or is planning something....I'll only know which by 12am sunday....
