Totally agree with this sweetie you are so right. Yes strange men really.I think a guy should tell a girl the facts, it is no use beating round the bush.Much less painful in the long run. You just cannot beat straight talking, then everyone knowes where they stand much better than all this wondering and waiting , it just drains all your engery just sooo not worth it.Been in this situation and it is just awful .You deserve so much btr than this. This guy does not deserve you, be kind to yourself and look after you:twothumbs:xxx

Thank you all for your support, I feel better, still very hurt and rejected.
He called me to apologise again.....I was blunt and honest and told him calmly (unliek last night) that I deserve better and that I couldn't beleive he'd done this to me. and I think he felt like a complete shit. GOOD! after causing me so much heart ache i'm glad he feels like a shit.
I will be performing at Bloomsbury Lanes on saturday at 8 if anyone wants to come down (I can usually swag free champagne ) my act has been changed from a aphrodite's declaration to aphrodite is pretty effing depressed....
maybe I should add runny mascara to my costume.....
i'll be fine, I just can't beleive I let him get away.....he meant so much to me.
Thanks again

How about Aphrodite being all confident and happy and single and not needing a man, on valentine's day or any other day??!!
And you didn't 'let' him get away, it wasn't anything you did wrong.
Sorry, after the crap I've been through these past few months because of a bloke I hate to see others going through the same thing, blaming themselves and feeling like crap. I know it's horrible but really, you're better off without him!!
xx

Oh Banbury, I'm sorry honey. I'm some sort of man, but i'm not sure if that makes my opinion have any special validity. First of all why a text? It could mean he's ashamed, hiding something, which doesn't sound positive, but just as much, it could be that he really is upset and confused about feeling this way, which makes it genuine.
I can't imagine myself being a man in that situation, but if you find in the next few days you are communicating with him, even if it's just a text or a call, then that's got to be good.
good luck x
