Thread: What makes you feel good??

February is probably the worst month for feeling down and generally fed up with your lot in life,

So when the blues get to you what do you do to make you feel good?

What little things cheer you up ? what puts the smile back on your face and the jiggle back in your shimmy??

Lets cheer each other up or at least make each other laugh

I love to put on some music, turn it right up, kick off my shoes and dance around... my kids think I'm nuts:daft: but I think I'm in 'Footloose'!!:lol:

A good meal (either in or out), loud energetic music, a good book, an immersive video game, surfing the net, wandering around the shops and spending money, cuddling the wife, chocoate and... well, you know.

Oh, and watching good burlesque.

I feel exactly the same at the moment, very low, constantly tired and like nothing is working, proper winter blues.

Can't wait to have picnics outside and BBQ's, I'm trying to think sunny thoughts.

Maybe you should have a picnic indoors, put a blanket and some plants on the the floor, nice food and wine, play some aloha music, have a summer fruit cocktail.

all of the following make me feel good.......in no particular order....

jelly beans, vodka, scampi and lemon nick naks, new shoes, red nails, hot bubble baths, 80's sunday cleaning music, waking up at silly o'clock when everything is still really quiet and its sort of half light half dark...
oh and also..you know when theres a woman dithering in the supermarket about the last salmon (or whatever it may be) thingy on the shelf...i swoop in and take it!! that makes me feel good and also a little wicked.....

white wine and cold dark chocolate, romantic and funny movies, and red shoes
