    Default Real Time MoB Chat

    Would anyone else love a real time MoB chat as much as I would...?

    It'd be so cool to chat to people on here in a "chat room" scenario.

    Anyone know if this would ever be possible?

    As it happens, I'm actually in a chatroom attached to another forum. So it's hypothetically possible, but whether it's practical (whether the esteemed proprietors have the time; it might need to be moderated, etc) is a different matter.

    It's nice to chat, but it's the fastest way to lose your evenings and not get anything constructive done....

    A few months ago Dashy or James got miffed at the way we used the "of topic" threads as a "live forum" and was considering doing something about a "live Chat" do hickey.

    It has got to be a great idea coz, even though I do not know a lot about web building and band width etc, I do know that all these one liner posts etc do take up space and space has to be paid for I think

    we used to have one a long long long time ago i think (can anyone else remember) but i don't like chatrooms; i get stuck to my computer enough without real time conversations

    I'm often using the chat facility on facebook to talk to fellow MoBsters whilst we are logged in to MoB so a chat facility on here would be great. Especially if we could chat to more than one person in our on-line conversation!!!

    I seem to remember James saying it was on his to-do list a little while ago...woohoo!!!!
