i'm not really a brad pitt fan to begin with, i must admit, and this film was okay but didn't improve my impression of him. probably not his fault that it's such slow going, though!
I like many films with more dialogue than action, but this one just didn't work so well for me. And it was too long, on top of that!

I saw it last week. It was a good film but too long, though I don't know what could have been taken out. The cinematography was beautiful.

oh, i was captivated throughout! if i wasn't i'd be fidgeting around, particularly as the film was quite long.
the wrestler is meant to be fab.
kittie noir, i've been to the cinema on my own twice before to see a film i really wanted to see that no one wanted to see with me - once you're in the dark, watching a movie, it doesn't really matter! i just can't miss out...

I loved it! I'm not a particular fan of Brad Pitt either (at least I wasn't until somebody changed that!) but I thought it was really well done. I loved the clock thing too, but then I like that sort of thing. It made me cry

I kinda want to see it, since Mark Kermode described it as 'Forrest Gump with A levels' - that's an amusing concept!
But I'm not a Pitt fan, and not really a Blanchett fan either, and certainly not a Gump fan, so I imagine I'd get bored very quickly

Fleur - wait until it comes out on DVD - nothing worse that sitting in a cinema bored ridgid!
I've only ever walked out of one film because I thought it was that goddamn awful - Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy.
I didn't really get the Forest Gump similarities - yeah, Benjamin might be on a journey, but that's about it!

You're right there ... I've never walked out of a cinema but I came close twice - My Best Friend's Wedding and Unleashed ... godawful pieces of cinema!
I'm not a fan of Dougls Adams anyway, so I refused point blank to watch the new Hitch Hiker's - looks like I made the right choice!
