Curious Case of Benjamin Button
I went to see this on Friday - what an absolutely gorgous beautiful film! Has anyone else seen it?
I think it's one of my top 10 films now.
Has anyone read the book?WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

I saw it on Wednesday, thought it was fantastic! It's up there with some of my favourite films too! Normally I prefer to read the book first, but haven't in this case, and might make an exception in not reading it at all, not sure I want my perception of the film to change.

We were rather naughty and watched it online...we loved it, especially how the story links to the floods in Old Orleans. I have heard others discuss its similarities to 'Forest Gump', I do believe that it was written by the same authour? For me yes there are many cross overs such as the many seemly heartless women, WW2 and the many provident happenings which occur throughout his life...but these are the ingredients of many a fairy tale and I feel that BB is more dark and less patronisig than FG and the superior film!
PS- How amazingly beautiful is Kate Blanchet:genius:???

I saw it on the day it was released (by accident actually) and thought it was an absolutely beautiful film.
The costumes were incredible!
Brad Pitt being absolutely gorgeous was an added bonus

Brad Pitt is most defintely rather gorgous!
Cate Blanchett is stunning - she's one of my favourite actresses of today.
I'm looking forward to the next Tarantino film with Brad Pitt...

I wasn't overly keen. It was a little wordy and slow for my pace.
And there wasn't enough fun in it. And the clock thing was a little schmoltzy.
I wish i'd have gone to see he just not into you instead, as inherently he wasn't.
