    I used to have a Russian Military second generation snipers Infra Red night scope on my night hunting rifle. A police chum saw it one day in the field and near had a fit. "Bloody 'ell Jock!!! thats better than wot WE got!!" He was even more cut up when I told him the price direct from Russia............heh, heh.
