Thread: Who wants to accmpany me to the Miss Student thing?

Anyone?

I'm through to the regional finals and need someone to calm me down and stop me freaking out at the thought of public speaking.

It's Sunday 1st March (which I thought was two weeks away but have just realised it's one)in Southampton. All my "real" friends are working/ can't get there so I was wondering if anyone here wanted to come along and support me? It would be handy having someone else all burlesque-d up to save me getting sucked into the fake tan land.

If not Mr C has offered but he will actually hate it.

Awwwww sweetie, I sooooooo wish I was nearer and could come with you to this. We could burly it up to the max and stick the proverbial 2 fingers up at the skinny, permatanned ones. Drat and blast my location.

Also Mr C should sooooo go with you whether he would hate it or not - that's the sacrifices you make for lurve. Also, he then has a 'trade' to hold over you when he wants a favour in return - teehee!!!!

What time will it be? I have a photographer coming but, if, with fingers crossed, they are at different times, of course I would love to come and hold your hand and tell you how genuinely wonderful you are.

I quite agree, a man should put up for the woman he loves....anyways just pretend the permatanned ones are shop dummies or something and that you are the only real pretty one there I'm too far away too

Agreed Fleur. As a single girl myself I would LOVE to have a nice fella to accompany me to things like this. And if it wasn't his thing....all the more reason to love him. Love is.........supporting the one you love!!!!!! *sigh* Maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic, no wonder I'm blooming single!!!!

Vie, I just had a look at the website and I don't have a clue what time it is as they have very helpfully not included any information other than the venue. I will let you know as soon as I find out. Assuming I do find out.
